Huntingdon itself

Our yard sits right on Warm Springs Ave in Huntingdon, a few minutes from the Juniata River and downtown's Standing Stone landmark, and this is still where most of our work happens. From the tight in-town lots around the historic borough core, out through the ridge-and-valley farmland along the river, and into the county's rural fringe toward the mountains, we have put containers on just about every kind of lot this county has.

If the container has to sit on a public street or sidewalk rather than your own driveway or yard, Huntingdon Borough requires a street-occupancy permit under its own Streets & Sidewalks ordinance — the fee is set by resolution of Borough Council rather than printed in the ordinance itself, so we never publish a dollar figure here; check current applications through Huntingdon Borough's Applications & Permits page or call Borough Hall directly. Private property itself is unregulated. Outside Huntingdon's own borough limits, every other borough in our service area handles its own placement permits through its own council, and any unincorporated community is actually part of a township, where the township's own Board of Supervisors handles it, not Huntingdon County. Confirm the current fee and process directly with whichever office applies, and allow lead time before you plan a same-day drop. Prohibited items follow PA DEP guidance statewide, and Huntingdon County Government is the resource we point customers to for the categories a roll-off legally cannot take: computers and TVs (Pennsylvania's Covered Device Recycling Act), plus paints, fuels, chemicals, batteries and tires.
